What $10 a unit actually costs

Botox is priced by the unit, not by the area — so the honest way to quote it is to show you the arithmetic. Our standard rate is $12 per unit. Through 30 September it's $10, with a 20-unit minimum.

How it works

A very small dose, very precisely placed

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a purified protein that temporarily blocks the nerve signal telling a specific muscle to contract. Less contraction means the skin above it stops creasing — and the lines that formed from years of that motion soften.

What the first month looks like

Day 0

Appointment runs about 10–15 minutes. No downtime — most clients come on a lunch break and go back to work.

Days 2–5

Movement in the treated muscles begins to ease. First visible softening.

Day 30

Full result, per the manufacturer. This is when we assess and touch up if needed.

90+ days

Treatments are spaced at least 90 days apart. Most clients return three times a year.

Is this the right treatment for you?

Botox treats lines caused by muscle movement. It does not fill volume loss or resurface skin texture — if that's what's bothering you, filler or a HydraFacial is the better conversation, and we'll tell you so.

A good fit if you

What people ask us

Why is Botox priced per unit instead of per area?+
Because a unit is the actual dose. Two people treating the same frown lines can need meaningfully different amounts depending on how strong the muscle is. Per-area flat pricing hides that — it either overcharges the person who needs less or under-doses the person who needs more. We quote you the exact unit count before we begin, and at $10 a unit you can do that arithmetic yourself.
What does the 20-unit minimum mean in practice?+
Twenty units is roughly one full treatment area — the manufacturer's recommended dose for frown lines, for example, is exactly 20 units. So the minimum is met by almost any complete single-area treatment. It exists so the special funds a real result rather than a token few units.
How long will it last?+
Results are temporary. BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments are spaced at least 90 days apart, and most people maintain their result with about three treatments a year. Duration varies with your metabolism, dose and how strong the treated muscles are.
Will I still look like myself?+
That's the goal, and it's a dosing question more than a product question. Conservative unit placement in the forehead in particular is what keeps the brow from dropping and the face from reading flat. Tell your provider at the consult how much movement you want to keep — it changes the plan.
Is there downtime?+
Typically none. The appointment takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Some people get small temporary bumps or slight bruising at the injection points that settle within a few hours. You'll be asked to stay upright and skip strenuous exercise for the rest of the day.
Can I combine this with something else?+
Often, yes — Botox addresses movement lines while filler addresses volume and a HydraFacial addresses surface texture. Ask at your consult; we'll sequence them properly rather than stacking everything into one visit.
